Building on our expertise in boat registration, we offer specialized services for obtaining your new navigation title.

We act as a liaison between you and the relevant administrative authorities, namely Customs and the DDTM (Maritime Affairs).

Whether you are buying a boat, new or used, changing the engine on your boat, or changing your address, you are required to submit a declaration to Maritime Affairs or Customs, or in some cases, both!

Simply follow the online instructions, and we will guide you until you obtain your new navigation title. We provide support throughout the process until you receive your new circulation card from the DDTM or your new "acte de francisation" from Customs.

Depending on your request, Maritime Affairs or Customs may ask for additional personal documents; do not worry, we are here to handle them.

Originally founded by two brothers with a passion for the sea and sailing, Raphael and Félix PILLET created the platform www.bateau-immatriculation.com in 2018 to represent French boaters in their administrative procedures.

To register a motorboat or sailboat in France, here is how we generally work:

• An initial contact by email or phone will allow us to study your administrative situation and that of your boat to better understand your needs.
• Based on our advice, you will be able to choose the port and registration district that best suit your situation.
• You will provide us with the requested documents. Do you not have an address in France? We can also assist you if you need a mailing address.
• Our team will take care of all the paperwork and procedures to obtain your new boat registration as quickly as possible.
• Once registration is complete, you will receive your new administrative documents. We will always remain at your disposal for any further requests.

International solutions

The skills of our experts do not stop there: if you wish to opt for a foreign flag for your motorboat or sailboat, we can also handle the procedures related to international vessel registration.

Beyond mainland France, we offer, depending on your situation, to register your vessel in other countries, both within and outside the European Union. You may choose to register your boat in Poland, Malta, Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, or Spain, but also in Great Britain, Jersey, or the British Virgin Islands.
